Golan People: October Liberation war proves the inevitability of victory over Israeli occupation

OCCUPIED SYRIAN GOLAN, Oct.6, (ST)- Our people in the occupied Syrian Golan have affirmed the continuity of the struggle until the liberation of every inch from the Israeli occupation, adding that the heroism of the Syrian Army in the October War of  Liberation  is a bright flame that proves the inevitability of victory.

The released prisoner, Bishr Al-Maqt, told the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) that the October war, which was led and planned by the late president Hafez Al-Assad, restored the prestige of the Arab nation, pointing out that the Syrian Arab Army consolidated the deep meanings of sacrifice, and the most wonderful heroism on the land of the occupied Syrian Golan.

For his part, Sheikh Jad Al-Karim Nasser said that the war is still on with the Israeli occupation- from the glorious October until today- to foil the occupation’s plans in the occupied Golan.

“Thanks to the steadfastness and faith of the people of the Golan, which they derived from the spirit of October and its victories, the struggle will continue to foil the occupation’s plans to impose (the Israeli identity) and the so-called (local council elections), and to establish wind turbines on their lands, he asserted,

Despite the passage of 49 years since the October War of Liberation, the occupation continues to this day to hide many of its losses on the occupied Golan, from the battle of the observatory on the highest peaks of Jabal al-Sheikh through the battles of Baqatha, Thalija, Kafr Nafakh and al-Daboura, and the outskirts of Lake Tiberias to the championships of the central and southern sector.
