Ghufran Mohammad wins gold medal in Kazakhstan

 

Astana, SANA – Syrian athlete Ghufran Mohammad won the gold medal in the 400m hurdle race (58.24 sec) in the International Athletics Championships held in Almaty in Kazakhstan.

Coach Belal al-Halabi  said that the competition was strong and the winner’s name was not decided until the final meters, noting that this participation is important for Ghufran Mohammad to prepare for the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics due to be held next August, SANA reported.
