Tehran (ST) – Secretary of the High Council for Human Rights and deputy head of the Iranian judiciary, Kazem Gharibabadi, announced the accusation of 94 Americans, including former US president Donald Trump, former Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, and the Commander for the US Central Command, Gen. Kenneth McKenzie, in the case of the assassination of the martyr Qasem Soleimani and his companions.
Gharibabadi stated in an interview with Iranian television: “There are two open criminal cases in the Iraqi judicial system and the Iranian judicial system to deal with this crime”. He pointed out that judicial agents have been sent to seven other countries because the accused are not only Americans, but from other countries as well.
The head of Al-Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Gen. Qasem Soleimani, and Deputy Chairman of Popular Mobilization Committee, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, and their companions were martyred near Baghdad Airport on January 3, 2020, after their vehicles were hit by an air missile strike from American helicopter, under the supervision and direct order of former US President Donald Trump.
