Ghalibaf: The American presence in the region threatens peace, security and stability

Speaker of the Iranian  parliament, Muhammad Bagher Ghalibaf, confirmed that the existence of the American forces in the region poses a threat to stability and prosperity there.

“The only solution to the problems in Iraq is America’s exit from it,” Ghalibaf said during his meeting with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein in the Iranian capital, Tehran, reiterating his country’s support for Iraq’s sovereignty, security, independence and safety.

Ghalibaf stressed the support of the two countries’ parliaments to enhance and develop bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields.

In the same context, the Iraqi Foreign Minister stressed the need to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, describing them as a part of a strategy.
