Germany’s Special Envoy to Syria, Stefan Schneck affirmed his country’s desire to help Syria overcome its liquidity crisis and reconnect it to the international banking system.

During a meeting with the Governor of the Central Bank of Syria, Maysa Sabreen, Schneck discussed ways to partner with the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund to begin the reconstruction process with the aim of securing a better future for all Syrians.
