Germany Stressed Ways to Launch Talks in Syria

 BRUSSELS, (ST)_ German Foreign Minister Guido Fastervelleh  said on Tuesday that he had asked Russia to help find a political settlement to the crisis in Syria.

Itar-Tass  said that Fastervelleh noted in a statement on the sidelines of NATO ‘s  foreign ministers in Brussels that “this is the only acceptable decision  and that ” ways  should be found on how to launch talks in Syria, and certainly, Russia plays a major role in this matter.

“If there is  an intention to reach a political solution,  there is a need to submit proposals during negotiations,” the German minister said.
