Genuine Cooperation among States Needed to Fight Terrorism: President Al-Assad

 DAMASCUS, (ST)_ The people should exert and put  pressures  on pro-terrorism governments as to make them change such positions, underscored H.E. President Bashar Al-Assad.

Receiving the visiting high-level Turkish delegation, chaired by Vatan Party (VP) Chairman Doğu Perinçek, President Al-Assad underlined further the need for fighting terrorists and for genuine cooperation among states as to rid the world from the grave epidemic of terrorism and as to fight extremist thinking which feeds terrorism.

President Al-Assad welcomed the delegation visit in a signal that genuine relations among states are built by the people and not by governments which pursue closed and destructive policies against the interests of the people, as is the case with Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan through  supporting the extremist Takfiri forces and others as to please his masters and execute their schemes.

The Turkish delegation members asserted that the landslide majority of the Turkish people do believe in the brotherly relations with the Syrian people and reject Erdogan’s involvement in supporting terrorism in Syria, the terrorism which has become the looming danger against all.

The delegation members highly appreciated and lauded the Syrians commitment to their territories and integrity, steadfastness, firmness, sacrifices of the Syrians and their Army against terrorism.

The delegation considered the Syrians and their Army fighting against terrorism as the basic factor in foiling the risks of dismemberment projects for the region.

According to Aydinlik Daily, the delegation visiting Syria consists of the following prominent figures of the Patriotic Party and Turkish political circles:
