The war of genocide and ethnic cleansing waged by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip starts its fifth month today.
During this brutal war 2,325 massacres were committed, claiming the lives of tens of thousands of martyrs, wounded and missing, amid a crucial humanitarian and health situation that has surpassed the catastrophic stage.
The Palestinians confirm that they are tired of the international community’s demands to stop the ongoing aggression since last October 7, as they are a partner in it.
They stress that the international community supported the occupation to launch the war , and refused to stop the genocidal war, as the United States prevented the Security Council 5 times from adopting a resolution to stop the aggression by obstructing wo Russian resolutions and its veto 3 times against draft resolutions submitted by Russia, Brazil and the UAE.
The Council contented itself with adopting two resolutions in which it called for humanitarian truces and expanding the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip in a safe, secure and unhindered manner in order to create the necessary conditions for a sustainable cessation of hostilities.
Despite this, the occupation refused to implement the two Council resolutions and also refused to implement the two United Nations General Assembly resolutions calling for a ceasefire.
As for the International Court of Justice, before which South Africa filed a lawsuit against Israel for committing acts of genocide in Gaza Strip, it submitted to the court a file of 84 pages, in which it collected evidence that Israel killed thousands of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, which is considered a crime of genocide against Palestinians.
The International Court of Justice merely imposed temporary measures on the occupying entity, including the need to take all measures to prevent acts prohibited under the Genocide Convention, and to ensure the immediate provision of the urgent humanitarian needs of Gaza Strip, without issuing a decision to stop the aggression.
