General strike across the West Bank in condemnation of the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression on Gaza Strip

A general strike was staged throughout the cities and towns of the West Bank on Wednesday, in denunciation of the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression for the twelfth day running against Gaza Strip, and the horrific massacre committed by the Israeli occupation in Al-Mamadani Hospital that led to the martyrdom of more than 500 people and the injury of more than 600 others.

The Palestinian media outlets reported that the strike, that was called for by the Palestinian national forces, included all aspects of life including universities, factories, laboratories, banks, and shops as well as public transportation, amid calls for demonstrations in all cities and towns in rejection of the occupation’s crimes against the Palestinian people.

General mourning was declared throughout the occupied Palestinian lands, and flags were flown at half-mast on official Palestinian institutions in the West Bank.

In turn,  Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas declared on Tuesday evening 3 days of mourning for the souls of the Palestinian martyrs who died as a result of the brutal massacre committed by the occupation at Al-Mamadan  Hospital in the Gaza Strip.
