General Establishment of Foreign trade: 173 generic medicines are defined with a contractual value of 70 million Euros

The Director of the General Establishment of Foreign Trade, Shadi Jawhara, revealed that the Establishment  has defined about 173 qualitative imported pharmaceutical preparations related to different medicinal groups for chronic diseases, with a contractual value of more than 70 million Euros.

In a statement to SANA reporter, Jawhara indicated that this came as a result of the Establishment’s  announcement of the pharmaceutical needs insurance tender for the year 2021, which was closed at the end of August of this year. This contributes to non- interruptions in medicines and the continuation of supplies of quality and import medicines.
