General Company for Building and Construction has completed work valued at SYP 130 billion since the beginning of 202

The value of the work carried out by the General Company for Building and Construction since the beginning of this year until now has exceeded 130 billion Syrian pounds, according to the Company’s officials.

The Company’s director, Engineer Mahmoud Al-Naimi, explained that the value of the total projects that the company is continuing to implement this year according to the production plan is more than 163 billion Syrian pounds. He indicated that the company is implementing a number of projects through its branches in the governorates, such as the Rastain power generation station project, and the projects of residential housing in Basilia City and Dimas in Damascus as well as the structure and partial cladding project for three sections in youth housing in Sweida, in addition to the sanitation in the town of Karak in Daraa Governorate.
The Company is also following up on the cladding work of Dibbin National Hospital in Homs Governorate, and the College of Technical Engineering at the University of Tartous.
According to Al-Naimi, the company is also following up on the implementation of the housing units project for those affected by the earthquake in Lattakia Governorate, and the completion rate has reached 94 percent, which includes the construction of 1,000 prefabricated temporary shelter units.
The Company is also close to completing the maintenance of the metal roofs in the thermal station in Tartous, and the completion rate of work in the phosphate production project in the South Abtar region, which is implemented by the Central Region Branch, has reached 94 percent.
