Gen. Freej Appreciates Army Great Efforts in Defending the Country

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Deputy Commander in Chief of the Army and the armed forces and defense minister in the caretaker government of Gen. Fahd Jassem Freij underlined the importance of the great efforts of the Syrian Army in defending the country by confronting the terrorist groups.

During a field visit yesterday to one of the army fighting formations on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, Gen. Gen. Fareej also visited the wounded of the Syrian army at Youssef al-Azmeh martyr hospital, congratulated them on Eid Al Fitr, wishing them “a speedy recovery “, and praising their sacrifices in pursuing the terrorist groups.

He commended the medical and therapeutic services provided in the hospital and the tireless efforts made to provide care for the wounded heroes of the army.

The wounded soldiers, in turn, vowed continued fighting until the restoration of the country’s security and safety.

Gen. Fareej accompanied in his tour with a number of officers of the General Command, also visited the army wounded soldiers at Tishreen military hospital, wishing them ” speedy recovery and success in the implementation of their national tasks.”
