Gen. Ayoub: Fighting terrorism will continue until restoring Syria security, stability

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr l, army chief of Staff Ali Abdullah Ayoub, accompanied by senior army officers, visited yesterday several military sites in the southern region, where he congratulated the army heroes on the Eid, wishing them success in the implementation of their duties.

Gen. Ayub,during his tour, praised the high morale the army fighters enjoy, over which they expressed strong determination to continue fulfilling their duties in pursuit of the remnants of the armed terrorist gangs.

He noted the great efforts made by the Syrian Army in eliminating the terrorist gangs, adding that the sacrifices and dear blood provided by our martyrs will not be in vain, rather increase determination to fight the Wahhabi- Takfirism backed by regional and Arab regimes subjugated to the will of the colonial West.

“The battle against terrorist gangs will continue until the eradication of terrorism and restoration of security and stability to the whole country,” Gen Ayoub emphasized.
