Gaza War Not Over Yet, Says Zeidan

Gaza – A senior member of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) has said that the Zionist regimes war and aggression against Gaza has not been over yet and that it is a mistake to believe US words to this end.

The present time in the history of Palestine is not a time to waste the opportunities, Saleh Zeidan told IRNA in a recent exclusive interview stressing that it would be a great mistake to believe that US has stopped its support for the Zionist regime.

Zeidan urged Palestinian political groups to maintain their unity against Israel and never even think of any retreat from their legitimate positions.

The DFLP official also said Palestinians would accept no obstacle on the way of reconstructing the massive damages caused by the Zionist regimes 51-day war on Gaza.

Israel’s atrocities against defenseless Gazans began on July 8 leaving more than 2,000 Palestinians, including around 570 children, dead and injuring some 11,000 others.

Most of the victims were civilians, including children, women and the elderly.

According to Zeidan, the US so-called initiative for a cease-fire in Gaza that was discussed at the United Nations Security Council in late July had only aimed at disarming the Palestinian resistance and further weakening of the Palestinian nation.
