Gaza Media Office: We call on everyone to move quickly to stop holocaust committed by Israeli occupation

Gaza Media Office confirmed that there is a growing international consensus against the holocaust committed by the Nazi Israeli occupation against the people of the besieged Gaza Strip, which has been continuing for 23 days, calling on all countries and bodies to move quickly to stop this holocaust and bring all service and humanitarian needs into Gaza Strip before it is too late.

Palestinian media quoted the office as saying in a statement today: International positions and voices are rising against the ongoing 23-day holocaust committed by the Nazi Israeli occupation against our people in Gaza Strip, the latest of which was what the UN Human Rights Rapporteur Francesca Albanese stated, “the crimes committed by Israel is war crimes and amounts to crimes against humanity.”

The media office added: “This international consensus – with the exception of some inconsistent voices that insist on participating in the occupier’s crime – requires moving from a state of describing the afflicted humanitarian reality, to the state of having the decision to stop the Holocaust, put an end to this worsening human tragedy, and immediately bring  all humanitarian and service needs into the sector.”

The media office noted that the timid international positions, from the beginning of this holocaust, constituted a veiled encouragement for the occupation to continue its crime, and created confidence in it that it would not be held accountable for all these massacres, just as was the case in all the massacres it committed since it occupied the land of Palestine.

The media office stated that this holocaust, on its twenty-third day, coincides with the anniversary of Kafr Qasim massacre, which was committed by the occupation in 1956, in which 50 Palestinians were killed, half of whom were children. It pointed out that this chronological and circumstantial coincidence in the repetition of the same massacres proves that this land will not enjoy calm and stability as long as this occupation remains.

In turn, the Civil Defense in Gaza said: Its crews were surprised by the extent of the destruction and the number of bodies after communications were restored, indicating that there are a large number of martyrs under the rubble until this moment due to the difficulty of reaching them.

The Civil Defense pointed out that it deals with 20 sites  at once targeted by bombing in one minute, calling for the introduction of Arab rescue teams to assist in rescue operations.

The Civil Defense noted that hospitals have reached more than their maximum capacity and some of the wounded are being treated on the ground, warning that the sector is on the verge of a major disaster if fuel is not brought in immediately.
