Gaza Media Office: The occupation is spreading lies to destroy hospitals, and the international community must stop this farce

The Gaza Media Office confirmed that the Israeli occupation is promoting lies and practicing incitement in preparation for destroying hospitals and killing those inside them, calling on the international community to stop this farce and stop the brutal occupation war on the Gaza Strip.

The office said in a statement today: “The spokesman for the Israeli occupation army came out to us in a press conference full of lies, during which he showed videos made in a contradictory, unprofessional and illogical manner that clearly showed complex, fabricated and misleading scenes to public opinion.This  falls within the framework of the campaign of misinformation and incitement practiced by the occupation against hospitals, which is a failed attempt to justify the crimes they committed by bombing the Baptist, Al-Shifa, Indonesian, Rantissi, Al-Quds, Oncology Hospital and other hospitals, in which hundreds of martyrs and wounded were killed .It is also a failed attempt to justify their killing of the sick, the wounded and the medical staff, their shooting and shelling of the displaced, and their targeting of ambulances.”

The office added: “We confirm that what the occupation has spread are blatant lies and a contradictory narrative, as part of its psychological war on our Palestinian people, and that it does not deceive public opinion.These lies also come within the framework of a campaign of incitement and preparation for the destruction of hospitals over the heads of patients, medical staff, and displaced people, in a new war crime that contradicts international law and all international norms and conventions, that which deepens the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip.”

The office explained that it had previously been proven, through engineering plans, that the occupation lied when it showed pictures that it said were resistance sites, which later turned out to be places for storing water and fuel for the various sections of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, stressing that the misleading operations and promotion of false narratives confirm that the occupation is in crisis and is trying to convince the world of its crimes and continuing aggression.

The office said: “We call on the international community to stop this farce and these exposed methods and try to lift the cover  that it gave to the Israeli occupation to commit more crimes against children, women and civilians and against hospitals and various health and relief institutions, we also demand that it stop the brutal war on the Gaza Strip.”
