Gaza Media Office: The occupation committed 23 massacres over the past 24 hours, claiming the lives of 316 Palestinians

Occupied Al-Quds (ST) – Gaza Media Office affirmed that the Israeli occupation continues the genocidal war it has been committing against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip for 58 days, brutaly killing civilians, children and women by bombing safe houses with Israeli and American warplanes and with giant American missiles and bombs. Every meter in Gaza Strip has become under Israeli fire and no place in the Strip is safe any more

The Office stated on Sunday: “During the past 24 hours, the occupation army committed 23 massacres that claimed the lives of 316 martyrs who arrived at hospitals, while hundreds of martyrs were still under the rubble as the civil defense crews were unable to recover their bodies.

Thus, the number of martyrs who arrived at hospitals rose to 15,523 martyrs, including 6,600 children and 4,300 women. The number of martyrs among medical staff reached 280 of doctors and medical teams, 26 martyrs from civil defense crews, and 77 journalists, while the number of missing persons reached 7,500, either under the rubble or their fate is still unknown, and the number of injuries reached 41,316 injured.

“The number of displaced people exceeded 1.5 million people in the Gaza Strip, suffering extremely difficult access to food, water and medicine, in addition to the poor living conditions and shelter”, the Office added.

The Office indicated that stopping the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip or following a policy of trickling its entry and depriving the Palestinians from their most basic rights is considered a premeditated death sentence for 2.4 million people in the Gaza Strip.

The Office warned all countries of the free world and international and global organizations of a humanitarian catastrophe committed by the occupation against civilians by destroying 60 percent of homes and housing units in Gaza Strip, where the occupation destroyed 300,000 housing units as part of a comprehensive genocidal war against the Palestinian people.

Civil defense mechanisms were unable to reach the areas of massacres and bombing due to the occupation’s destruction of approximately 80 percent of the rescue vehicles and the lack of fuel with which the remaining vehicles moved, which increased the number of martyrs.

The office held the Israeli occupation and the international community, especially the American administration, fully responsible for the genocidal war, as they gave the occupation the approval to carry out the genocidal war with the aim of getting rid of the Palestinians through either killing or displacement.

The office called for the entry of medically equipped field hospitals into the Strip and the entry of equipment and mechanisms for relief, emergency and civil defense so that they can recover the bodies of the martyrs that are still under the rubble.
