Gatilov: The United Nations underestimates Kiev’s use of mines against civilians in Donbass

Moscow (ST): Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, Gennady Gatilov, emphasized that the West and international human rights groups deliberately underestimate the Ukrainian forces’ use of anti-personnel mines against civilians in Donbass.
The TASS news agency quoted Gatilov as saying  in statements he made during a speech at a round table discussion, which is part of the 51st session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, that “Ukrainian forces have been using these mines against their former citizens for a few months and have dumped them in the yards of apartment buildings, markets, and other civic places.”
Gatilov added that “there is only one explanation for this, which is revenge on the residents of these regions for their choice and unwillingness to remain under the fire of the Nazi government in Kiev.”
