Gardens Show, Spring Festival Opened in Beirut

BEIRUT, (ST) – With the participation of the Syrian Federation of Exporters, the eleventh session of the Gardens and Spring Festival Show 2014 (Garden Show) was opened recently in Beirut.

The head of the Exhibits Committee and Secretary of the Syrian Federation of Exporters Mazen Hammour said in a statement that the Syrian Federation participates in this exhibition on an area of 100 square meters and contains various items from multiple plants and flowers produced in Syria with the aim of promoting the industry of flowers, plants and ornamental plants, seeds and Syrian saplings.

“The participation will be a prelude to a wide Syrian participation in the next year by the support of the Syrian Federation, pointing to the participation of about fifty producers of flowers and ornamental plants from Syria in this exhibition to brief on the exhibits and to communicate with producers of flowers and promotion of Syrian products in preparation for trade deals that support this sector,” Mr. Hammour clarified.

The five- day Garden Show and Spring Festival 2014 is held for the eleventh in Beirut on an area of about 10 thousand square meters, with more than 200 exhibitors from Lebanon and abroad.
