On December 22, Egyptian military expert Major General Hamdi Gabr said that the American economic measures against the Syrian people through the so-called “Caesar’s Law” and the targeting of Syrian oil installations expose the reality of the American plan to hinder the progress of the Syrian Arab army and its victories against terrorism, especially in the governorate of Idlib.
Gabr said that Washington is disturbed by the victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army over the terrorist organizations that implement the American plans
Gabr expressed his confidence that these hostile American measures will not affect the Syrian Army’s will to achieve the final victory and liberate the Syrian land from terrorist organizations and their supporters.
Al-Assuiti: Washington’s actions against the Syrians are aimed at obstructing the army’s victories.
On December 21, Member of the Egyptian Egypt Yusri Al-Assuiti has denounced the American law, which was recently ratified by the United States Senate, and which imposes hard economic measures on the Syrian people.
He said that the Caesar law aims at hindering the Syrian Arab army’s victories against terrorism.
“The Egyptian and Syrian people are one entity, and any threat to one of them is a threat to the other. This unjust American law cannot be accepted,” he said.
He also denounced the targeting of Syrian oil installations
For his part, Major General Fouad Allam, Member of the Egyptian Supreme Council for Combating Terrorism, said that Syria is able to defeat terrorism and all the forces that conspire against it.
Allam condemned the targeting of Syrian oil installations by terrorist organizations.
Allam said that the positions of some countries in the region, such as Turkey and Qatar, in addition to America, Britain and France, are within the framework of an old plan to divide the region and drain its resources.
