Gabala New Show

The Directorate of Theaters and Music in Lattakia organized a new performance entitled (The Country of the Sun) by Gabala Dance Theatre, directed by Afaf Abdullah and creograph by Afaf Abdullah, Muhammad Othman and Hassan Al-Farwi on the stage of Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts in Lattakia.

Afaf Abdullah said that  the show contained a civilized mix between the ancient Syrian civilizations and other civilizations,and It presented  the heritage of Syria, including several regions, like: al-jazeera, Euphrates, Hauran plain, the coast, and the central region.

The show included poetic paragraphs, in addition to a performance by Gabala group, entitled “The Country of the Sun” in order to revive Syria’s heritage and focus on Al – Jazeera and Euphrates region, which was known to be the food basket of Syria, and the starting point of ancient civilizations.

 

It is to be  mentioned that the show is new for the year 2022, and preparations for it began three months ago and its duration ranged between 48 and 50 minutes, in which 28 male and female dancers of different ages participated.
