G77 and China call on Israeli occupation entity to immediately and completely withdraw from the Syrian Golan and the occupied Arab territories

The ministers of the Group of 77 and China renewed their call for the Israeli occupation entity to immediately and completely withdraw from the Syrian Golan and the occupied Arab territories

During their meeting in New York, with the participation of Syria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Bassam Sabbagh, the ministers of the group adopted a ministerial declaration on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the group, in which they expressed strong condemnation of the attack carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities last July on the village of Majdal Shams in the occupied Syrian Golan, which led to the martyrdom of 12 Syrian children

They also condemned the Israeli attacks on Syrian civilian facilities and residential buildings

They called for an immediate cessation of settlement activities and the dismantling of illegal settlements in the occupied Syrian Golan

The ministers expressed their deep concern over the serious violations of international law and international humanitarian law committed by “Israel”. they also called for an end to Israel’s violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty and its threats to Lebanon’s security and stability

They expressed their deep concern that these Israeli attacks have resulted in the martyrdom of dozens of civilians and caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure

The ministers stressed the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people and the people of the occupied Syrian Golan to their natural resources, including land, water and energy resources

They renewed their rejection of the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria that negatively affect the development and prosperity of the Syrian people, stressing the need to lift them immediately
