G7 Renews Commitment To Syria’s

Stability And Territorial Integrity
The foreign ministers of the G7 countries reaffirmed their
commitment to the stability, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria.

News agencies quoted the foreign ministers of the group,consisting of the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy,
Japan and Canada, as saying in a joint statement, during their meeting on the sidelines of the 61st Munich Security Conference, chaired by Canada:

“We welcome the results of the international conference on Syria, hosted by Paris, and renew our commitment to support the Syrian
people and support a comprehensive political transition process.”

Regarding the Middle East, the G7 ministers discussed the
political, security and humanitarian situations, and affirmed their commitment to achieving regional peace and stability.
