Fresh achievements for Syrian Arab Army

PROVINCES, (ST) – Foreign-backed terrorists ,operating in Syria, on Sunday continued to sustain heavy losses  as units of the armed forces mowed down scores of gangsters during the mopping up  operations in Aleppo,Homs,Idlib,Daraa,Hama and  Damascus countryside .

In Aleppo, the army units hammered  terrorists’ groupings  in Mar’anaz and Khan Touman ,Urom al-Sughra-Daret Ezzeh road,Kafer Hamra, al-Dweirineh , Naqarin and al-Rashdin inflicting heavy losses upon them.

In Damascus Countryside, units of the armed forces carried out operations against terrorists’ hideouts  in  eastern and western  Ghouta in Damascus Countryside killing and injuring several terrorists.

Meanwhile, an army unit regained control over the area surrounding the Electricity Company in al-Qaboun  after killing all terrorists there  .

Terrorists repelled in Daraa

Units of the armed forces repelled the armed terrorist groups ‘ attempt to attack the agricultural Development Center on Daraa- Damascus road and destroyed a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists’ dens in several villages and towns in Daraa.

Al-Qaeda –linked terrorists killed in Lattakia outskirts

Units of the armed forces killed several ringleaders of al-Qaeda terrorist groups in the outskirts of Lattakia (Salma, al-Sukaria, al-Heilwa and al-Rabi’a villages)and destroyed their bases.

The army killed the Saudi ringleader  of the so-called  “Ohud army” Abdurrahman al-Ansari, a Chechen terrorist nicknamed al-Farouq, “, Anwar Ali, leader of the so-called “al-Haq Brigade”, Khalid al-Arabi from Egypt, Mahmoud al-Tarawna, Abdurrahman al-Ma’ani from Jordan and Abdulsalam al-Harithi from Saudi Arabia  ,SANA reported.

Terrorists suffer heavy losses in Idleb

In Idleb, the army units inflicted heavy losses upon the armed terrorist groups, killing many and injuring others in several sites in the countryside of the province.

Army units advance in al-Khalidiyeh

Units of the armed forces continued  to track down terrorists in al-Khalidiyeh in Homs and its countryside and  inflicted heavy losses upon them.

Elsewhere in the country

In Hama, units of the armed forces crushed two groupings  of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Kafer Nabuda town and al-Jabyreh village in Hama countryside.
