French Tourist Group Visits Archaeological City of Palmyra

PALMYRA- A group of 25 French tourists, who are experts in the human history, visited on Wednesday the archaeological city of Palmyra to inspect its civilization and have a look at the volume of destruction caused by acts of Daesh terrorists before liberating it at the hands of Syrian Arab army, according to SANA.

“I have visited Palmyra many time and know it very well, but this time, I am sad over the sabotage that targeted the houses, stones and trees at the hands of enemies of the humanity,” A French expert in archaeological excavation told SANA.

 

Another researcher in history considered Palmyra as “a unique city and a miracle in the desert as well as a symbol of the human history.
