Head of the National Rally bloc in the French Parliament, Marine Le Pen, warned that the failure to lift the European sanctions imposed on Russia means power cuts for Europe, noting that these sanctions are useless and because of which the Europeans suffer.
“I hope the sanctions will disappear to avoid blackouts in Europe, especially with regard to gas imports,” the Russian RT channel quoted Le Pen as saying at a press conference, denouncing what she described as the inability of the French authorities to act after the re-election of Emmanuel Macron for a second term.
Le Pen noted that during the first 100 days of his second term, he was able to do almost nothing.
