French Economic Group, Damascus Chamber of Industry Discuss Means of Communication

Damascus, (ST)-  The Board of Directors of Damascus Chamber of Industry recently met there with a French delegation representing economic Photo Mania group headed by Director General, Yannick Dikro.The two sides discussed possibility of re-activating economic and trade relations and to open channels of communication between small and medium-sized French companies and Syrian counterparts.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber, Samer al Debess, stressed the  readiness of his Chamber  for cooperation with the delegation and to give all necessary aid  to reactivate the economic and trade relations between businessmen in both countries.

A number of members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber indicated to the importance of re-activating the direct trade relations between businessmen and companies of both countries.

For his part, Mr. Dikroraised the possibility of creating a joint French- Syrian Chamber of Commerce in France that gathers small and medium companies to communicate with Syrian counterparts and open areas for action, cooperation, joint investment and contribute more to the reconstruction process.
