A French delegation made up of representatives of civil associations have discussed with many Syrian University students in Damascus the education process and the necessity of conveying the reality of events taking place in Syria to the world public opinion.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the students called for getting support in the field of education through making researches and holding meetings between Syrian and European youths in order to brief them on the Syrian people’s suffering from the terror war being waged on Syria and the western blockade imposed on it.
The agency quoted official in charge of Syrian-Lebanese relations in French communities Fabian Blleniu as saying : “The wrong decisions of French government regarding the closure of its institutes in Syria caused damage and it is important to resume cultural exchange and to re-open the institutes.”
Blleniu underscored the need to support the Syrian people and army, who deserve peace, clarifying that the goal of her visits to Syria since 2014 is to encourage associations interested in education.
On his part, member of the Syrian Students National Union’s executive bureau Bashar al-Metlaq told reporters that it is important to brief world public opinion about situation of Syrian youths and the destruction caused by foreign-backed terrorist organizations in several education institutes.
Since 2011, Syria has faced a foreign-backed terrorist war targeting its army, people, civilization and infrastructures in accordance with US-Zionist plot that aims to fragment the region and to have hegemony over its wealth.
France has been a main supporter for terrorist organizations in Syria according to world media reports.
