French delegation express admiration for Syrian youth culture

The visiting French Parliamentary delegation has expressed admiration for the Syrian youth culture.

Julien Rochedy- a member of the delegation- said: “I read a lot about Syrian civilization and history and I admire the culture of the Syrian youth.”

His remark came during the French delegation’s visit to the National Center of Visual arts in Damascus on Sunday.

On his part, the French Member of Parliament Nicolas Dweik commented on the art works in the center by saying: ” the works reflect that life is stronger than death. The Syria people seeks to live in peace and to make development. “

“I hope that the Syrian young artists will communicate with the world through their works because Syria has deep-rooted civilization and history,” he concluded.

 The French delegation arrived in Damascus on Friday evening to take part in the Easter celebrations and to be briefed on the current situation in the country. they met several Syrian officials and visited some areas in the capital.
