French authorities prevent the organization of protest demonstrations against continuous Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip
Paris, (ST) – French police on Wednesday announced that they had banned two protest demonstrations against the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
AP quoted a police spokesman as saying in a statement: “These two demonstrations were scheduled to be held in the capital, Paris, next Thursday, and they were prevented regarding the risks of disrupting public order.”, he claimed.
Yesterday, French Prime Minister Elisabeth Bourne threatened that her country would not tolerate any action or statement hostile to Israel on its soil, pledging the utmost firmness towards this.
This French position comes in line with Western positions in general to show more support for the Israeli occupation entity in continuing its aggression against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
