Four years after breaking the terrorist siege on Der Ezzour, 1.000.000 people have returned to their houses

DER EZZOUR, (ST)_Four years have passed since breaking the terrorist siege that had been imposed on the city of Der Ezzour. 
 
On this occasion, the Syrian News Agency (SANA) published on Sunday a report in which it recalled that the city of Der Ezzour had suffered for more than 1000 days from the unjust siege imposed by ISIS terrorists, who perpetrated brutal crimes and fired rockets on districts inhabited by thousands of people as well as damaged the infrastructure  and institutes.
 
The 1000-day nightmare ended at around 2:00 pm four years ago when the Syrian army managed to break the siege. 
 
Today, all services have returned to the city, according to the report, which clarified that the  water establishment has ensured drinking water to all liberated areas in the city through 67 water stations out of 71 that were rehabilitated by the government.
 
5 electricity stations have been put into service, while the number of schools that have opened in the city has reached 344 to contain 146.000 students. 
 
As for the agricultural sector, the report affirmed that the government has  ensured all requirements of production and installed 117 irrigation sets, so the area of agricultural lands covers more than 44.000 hectares. 
 
Talking about health sector, SANA indicated the number of health centers increased from 4 centers in 2017 to 42 ones that provide residents will all types of medical services. 
 
There are also 62 bakeries and a center for citizen’s services in the city to which 1.000.000 people have returned so far.
