Four out of Five Germans Oppose Their Country’s Participation in Military Action against Syria

BERLIN, (ST)-  Four out of five Germans oppose the participation of the German army in any possible military action against Syria, according to poll conducted by the German Emnid Institute.

The poll’s results, published by Contra Magazine, showed that 81% of the German are against the German military’s participation in a possible aggression on Syria. Only 13% of participants supported such military action, the magazine said.

 The majority of opponents represented  the Left Party at 93%, the Greens Party at 85% and the Alternative for Germany Party at 83%, the magazine pointed out.
