Moscow, (ST) – Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region in southwestern Russia, announced that four people were killed and twenty others were injured in Ukrainian attacks on the region yesterday.
RT website quoted Gladkov as saying: “During the past 24 hours, four civilians were killed and twenty others were injured, two of them in critical condition, as a result of Ukrainian shelling of the Belgorod region.”
Gladkov pointed out that 160 apartments, 60 private homes and about 140 cars were damaged as a result of the attacks.
He added: We will try to start restoration work as soon as possible.
In the same context, the Donetsk People’s Republic’s representative office in the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes in Ukraine reported in a post on Telegram: Over the past 24 hours, 25 shelling incidents by Ukrainian forces were recorded on the territory of the republic, 7 of them on the Donetsk axis and 18 on the Gorlovka axis, during which 65 shells of various calibers were fired, resulting in the injury of three civilians.
It is noteworthy that the previous day, 29 shelling incidents by Ukrainian armed formations were recorded on the territory of the Donetsk Republic.
