Forum for Syria Condemns Terrorist Attacks against Palmyra Surroundings

BUDAPEST, (ST) _ The Forum for Syria and the Syrian community in Hungary condemned the terrorist attacks committed by Daesh terrorist organization in the surroundings of Palmyra, as well as crimes committed by terrorist organizations, especially al-Nusra Front against civilians in Ishtabraq village of Idleb countryside.

A statement by both the forum and the community issued yesterday read: “We express our condemnation over Daesh terrorist gangs perpetrated crimes and attacks in the surrounding of Palmyra, which claimed the lives of many innocent citizens.”

“We express our indignation at the barbarism of Al-Nusra Front terrorist gangs that had killed several citizens in Ishtabraq village in Idleb,” the statement added.

Both the forum and members of the community expressed blessings for the martyrs and speedy recovery for the martyrs and faith in the victory of Syria and its army under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.

Several people were killed or injured on Sunday night after being hit by a missile and mortar shells fired by Daesh terrorists against residential neighborhoods in the city of Palmyra, besides inflicting serious material damage to dozens of houses, shops and the city infrastructure.
