Forty companies take part in Family Marketing Festival

Damascus (ST): About forty national industrial companies are taking part in the Family Marketing Festival which is jointly organized by the Ministry of Religious Endowments and the Syrian Economic Group at Takkiyeh Suleimanieh in Damascus.

The event, which will last until September 30th, aims at offering basic products for Syrian families at low prices. Minister of Religious Endowment Dr. Mohammad Abdel Sattar al-Syyed underlined the importance of such festivals in light of the economic embargo being imposed on the Syrian people and the soaring prices which co-incided with the opening of schools.

He added that the ministry encourages these events, and it is inevitable for the people who achieved victory over terrorism to achieve victory in the economic war being launched on Syria.

Head of the Syrian Economic Group Dr. Mohammad al-Jabali said that the forty participating companies offer competitive prices, especially for food products and stationery.

Some citizens, who visited the festival, said that the event is an opportunity for citizens to buy their basic needs at the lowest prices possible.
