Former undersecretary of Egypt’s General Intelligence: Syria’s enemies continue to support terrorism on its territories

Cairo- Former undersecretary of Egypt’s General Intelligence Mohammad Rashad has stressed that Syria’s enemies and the parties that conspired on it continue to support the terrorism that is targeting its security and sovereignty.

In a statement to SANA correspondent in Cairo, Rashad said the US occupation forces, which are illegally present in the Syrian territory, in addition to other occupying troops, aim at exhausting the Syrian state in the confrontation of terrorism, therefore, there is no alternative except the withdrawal of these forces and the establishment of the Syrian Arab Army’s control over the entire Syrian territories in order to completely eliminate terrorism.

Rashad condemned the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted a bus carrying Syrian army personnel in Deir Ezzor countryside, reiterating the need to support Syria in uprooting terrorism from its territories.
