Former Slovak PM Urges His Country to Reopen Its Embassy in Damascus

BRATISLAVA, (ST)- Foremer Slovak Prime MInister Jan Carnogursky has called on his country’s administration to end it subordination to the United States’ policies and rebuild good relations with Syria.

In an article published by the Slovak “Lavni Zebravi” website on Tuesday, Carnogursky renewed his call on the Slovak government to reopen its embassy in Damascus in order to serve its interests and to avoid being the last to seek negotiation on this matter.

“The West has realized that it has lost its war on Syria and began to acknowedge this fact”, Carnogursky said, noting repeated calls for western politicians to “get rid of Syria fall illusion”
