Former Slovak PM blames the West for the displacement of people from their houses in Syria

BRATISLAVA, (ST)_Former Slovak Prime Minister Ján Čarnogurský has affirmed that the west’s insistence on intervention in the domestic affairs of Syria, Libya and Iraq and creating crises and wars in these countries have caused the displacement of a lot of people from their houses and lands.

His remarks came during a speech he gave yesterday before a group of Slovak citizens in Bratislava.

Čarnogurský said that his country can not depend on NATO, which involves it in wars that it has nothing to do with them, to guarantee its safety.

“ NATO considers Slovakia as a front line against Russia,” he added.
Recently, Čarnogurský  declared that the west imposed unilateral and coercive measures on Syria because it was defeated in this country.
