Former Indian Diplomat Holds US Responsible for War on Syria

NEW DELHI, (ST)-A former Indian diplomat has declared that the United States is responsible for the eruption of war on Syria, stressing that solution of the crisis in this country is in the hands of Syrians themselves.

Speaking to the official news agency (SANA),  the former Indian ambassador in Damascus Mr. Rajendra Abhyankar said the U.S. behavior reflects that it  is not convinced of political solution to the crisis in Syria.

 “The U.S does not want to reach political solution despite the fact that it can have vital  interests in reaching it,” he added, asserting that European countries are unwilling to help reach a solution that will alleviate the repercussions of the refugee crisis Europe is suffering from.
