Forestation campaign in Hama countryside to revive the vegetation cover 

Volunteers from the Youth Union branch in Hama, in cooperation with the Directorate of Agriculture, carried out a forestation campaign this morning in the city of Morek in the northern Hama countryside.

Member of the leadership of the Youth Union, Muhammad al-Qasim, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the forestation campaign aims to plant forest plants at the entrance to the city of Morek, and a number of roads and the sides of the main squares to restore green spaces.

Head of the Youth Union branch in Hama, Muhammad al-Ibrahim, pointed out in a similar statement to the importance of forestation campaigns in reviving and expanding the vegetation cover of the region, especially since the forest wealth in the city was subjected to encroachments during the past years.
