Foreign Ministry: Syria congratulates Iraq over success of elections

Damascus – Syria expressed the sincerest congratulations to Iraq over the success of the elections.

An official source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said that Syria expresses the sincerest congratulations to Iraq over the success of the elections process, hoping that the results of the elections will lead to strengthening national unity and fulfilling the aspirations of the Iraqi people, SANA reported.

The Iraqi parliamentary elections were held on May 12th to elect the 328 members of the Iraqi parliament.
