Foreign Ministry : Supporting Terrorism has become a permanent Strategy of Turkish Regime and the West
Syria has affirmed that the disinformation campaign launched by the Turkish regime and the western countries against it during the past few days, has proved the great support which has been provided by the Turkish regime and these countries to the armed terrorist groups. It has also proved that these countries have greatly invested in terrorism to implement their hostile plans which have nothing to do with the aspirations of the Syrian people in eliminating terrorism and maintaining their sovereignty and stability.
An official source at the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement to SANA that the exaggeration by Turkish and Western media concerning losses of the Syrian Arab Army in the battles taking place on the direction of Saraqeb city and their boast about them are an attempt to raise the collapsing morale of terrorists and represent an official recognition of the involvement of Erdogan’s forces in fighting alongside the Takfiri terrorist groups and affirm Turkey’s non-commitment to its obligations under Sochi Agreement .
The source added that the achievements realized by the Syrian Arab Army against terrorism with the support of its allies, reopening Damascus-Aleppo international high way and regaining control over 130 villages in the provinces of Idlib, Aleppo, Hama which revealed in a way that there is no doubt that supporting terrorism has become a constant strategy of the policies of Turkish regime and west countries to reach their sordid and morally rejected goals, which contradict with provisions of international law , international humanitarian law and human rights law.
The source stressed that the Syrian Arab Army, which managed to liberate millions of citizens from the threat of terrorism during past weeks will continue to carry out its duties to eliminate terror presence in all Syrian territory and not allowing Western countries and their tools to perpetuate the control of these terrorists over Syrian people and control its fate..
