Foreign Ministry: Extremist Israeli government exports its internal crises through committing crimes

DAMASCUS, May.2, (ST)- Syria has affirmed that the Israeli aggressive policies are nothing but a miserable attempt to reshuffle the cards of the region and disrupt the ongoing diplomatic movement aimed at restoring security and stability to it, adding that the U.S. Administration’s impunity for the Israeli entity is behind the continuity of the Israeli crimes against the Syrian people.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement released on Tuesday that the mercenaries of war in the extremist Israeli government continue their attempts to export their internal crises, and cover up their crimes against the prisoners in the occupation detention centers, and their helplessness in front of the steadfastness of our people in the occupied Syrian Golan and our brothers in the occupied Palestinian territories through going ahead with fueling the situation and committing crimes and violations of international law and the provisions of the Charter of the United Nations.

It indicated that the Israeli enemy carried out yesterday a missile attack on several points in Aleppo governorate killing a soldier and wounding 5 others plus 2 civilians and putting Aleppo International Airport out of service.

The Ministry added that this attack is part of a series of Israeli attacks on vital civilian facilities, including the international airports of Damascus and Aleppo, the commercial port of Lattakia, and scientific and cultural centers.

It concluded its statement by saying: “Syria condemns, in the strongest terms, the Israeli latest aggression and warns of the continuation of perpetrating such attacks and calls upon the UN and Security council to break their silence, assume their responsibility and put an end to the Israeli hostile policies and bring their perpetrators to justice.”
