Foreign Ministry: Countries hostile to Syria are unable to impose any conditions or dictates on Syrians
Damascus, (ST) – Syria affirmed that states hostile to Syria, whose terrorist project suffered a resounding defeat, are unable to impose any conditions or dictates on the Syrian people. These states are the main cause of the Syrians’ suffering as a result of terrorism and illegal unilateral coercive measures.
An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement to SANA on Wednesday that, eleven years have passed since the terrorist aggression supported by the United States of America and Western countries against Syria, whose main objective was to impede Syria’s civil, economic and social renaissance, destroy its achievements and infrastructure.
The source added that, despite the failure of the conspiracy against Syria and the faltering of the hostile project and the defeat it inflicted on the brave Syrian Arab Army, the countries conspiring against Syria still live in the illusions of their conspiracies in complete separation from reality and release statements that are full of hypocrisy, because these countries were the main cause of the suffering of the Syrian people as a result of terrorism and illegal unilateral coercive measures.
The source stressed that, the countries hostile to Syria, whose terrorist project suffered a resounding defeat, are unable to impose any conditions or dictates on the Syrians.
The source concluded by saying that, the blatant American and Western intervention in Ukraine showed their responsibility for what is happening in Ukraine during the past days to serve their narrow interests and their desire to dominate the capabilities of the world, which are the same brutal policies that they practiced in Syria over the past years in support of terrorism. This matter also proves their responsibility for the destruction inflicted in Syria, impeding the consolidation of stability in it, and trying to revive what they failed to achieve over the past eleven years in order to serve their agendas.
