Damascus, (ST) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed that the first package of American measures against Syria in implementation of the so-called “Caesar Act” reveals the American administration’s transgression of all international laws and norms.
An official source in the Ministry said in a statement to SANA that the first package of the American measures against Syria in implementation of the so-called “Caesar Act”reveals the American administration’s violation of all international laws and norms and the level that this administration’s officials descended so that their behavior is similar to that of gangs and bandits.
The source added that the American administration that is chasing its citizens in the various streets of its states and killing people in cold blood and practicing the most heinous forms of racial discrimination is the last one who has right to talk about human rights because the American administration established its state on the culture of murder and has no values and violates all norms and laws.
The source added that the American administration’s talk about human rights in Syria goes beyond the ugliest forms of lies and hypocrisy and its policies in support of terrorism prove these lies. The escalation of sanctions against the Syrian people comes to add a new dimension and form to this terrorism and an attempt to float US’S staggering project and defeats its tools of terrorists.
The source pointed out that many countries condemned these unlawful unilateral sanctions and demanded their immediate lifting calling them a crime against humanity and a flagrant violation of international law, both human and political.
“The Syrian people and their strong army who thwarted the American project in defense of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and people will not allow the White House to revive their destroyed project. People in Syria will face sanctions of the West with the same determination that defeated America’s tools of terrorist groups and no one will be deceived by Trump and his administration’s officials on the Syrians because their goals are clear, as are their policies”, the source concluded its statement.
