Foreign Interference in Syria’s Internal Affairs Hinders Political Settlement, Mansour

BEIRUT, (ST)- Foreign Interference in Syria internal affairs hinders political solution in the country, former Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour has underscored, calling for stopping the flow of weapons and terrorists to Syria and for exerting more efforts to find a settlement in the counrty and achieve lasting solutions for crises in the region.

Interviewed by the al-Manar TV on Thursday, Mansour said “what is going on today has proved the need for strong resistance to face terrorism.” He affirmed that “if there hadn’t been any resistance in Lebanon, the country would have entered the tannal of terrorism.”

The former Lebanese top diplomat clarified that the terrorist aggression hitting the region aims at fragmenting its countries and undermining the cultural, national and religious elements in these countries.
