For the third day running, coronavirus infection cases retreat

Damascus (ST): The daily coronavirus  infection cases have  retreated in Syria by nearly half as 36 new coronavirus infections were registered during the last 24 hours in comparison with 60 infection cases  last Friday.

The Ministry of Health said that 36 new coronavirus infections were registered in Syria and 16 patients have recovered while 2 cases have died.

In a statement, the Ministry said the number of coronavirus infections that were registered in the country reached to 3576,  among which 858 patients have recovered while 157 ones have passed away.

The first Coronavirus case in Syria was detected last March 22nd, while the first death resulting from the fatal virus was registered on the 29th of the same month.
