For The First Time .. The Expedition of The Wounded of The Homeland Participates in West Asia Paralympic Championship

The expedition of the wounded of the homeland is participating for the first time in West Asia Paralympic Championships through a delegation representing the Special Sports Federation of the Syrian Arab Republic.  The tournament will be  held in Bahrain from the 18th to the 27th of February 2022.

Seven wounded athletes, representing Syria, will compete in this tournament, along with a number of fellow Syrian athletes with disabilities, who will participate in physical strength, athletics and badminton championships.

 

It is noteworthy that a number of the wounded athletes, participating in this championship, have been able to win first places in the sports games titled: “The Wounded Athletes of The Homeland”, which were held in Lattakia Governorate in August 2021, where 92 wounded athletes with total disability participated there.
