“For Peace and Against Fascism” symposium sheds light on Zionist enemy’s attacks in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria
DAMASCUS, Oct.12, (ST)- The Arab Writers Union, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Damascus, held a dialogue symposium entitled “For Peace and Against Fascism,” in which a number of ambassadors, intellectuals, and writers participated. It shed light on the crimes of the Zionist enemy and its ongoing brutal attacks in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria.
The symposium, which was held at the headquarters of the Arab Writers Union in Damascus included many political and intellectual analyzes of the current situation, and the West-backed brutal Israeli aggression against the region
The Venezuelan ambassador to Damascus, Dr. Jose Gregorio Biomorgi Mousates, stressed the necessity of uniting everyone’s efforts in order to achieve victory over imperialism and fascism and to confront this absolute evil.
He pointed out that his country organized a peace conference a month ago, and a global movement against fascism was established, reviewing the organic relationship that links the Venezuelan opposition with the Zionist entity, as the Bente political party in Venezuela, which leads the opposition, signed an agreement with the criminal Israeli Likud Party.
For his part, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Hossein Akbari, asked questions about the origin of the crimes committed by the entity, the role of America, and what is the solution, stressing that America’s strategy is to dominate the entire world, especially after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and it is working to achieve its ambitions regionally and globally, as well as It seeks with its allies to create “Greater Israel” by occupying a number of Islamic countries.
The Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Damascus, Samir Al-Rifai, called for unifying efforts to confront the Zionist genocide in Gaza and Lebanon, which is based on deportation, displacement, murder, crime, starvation and destruction, pointing out that the Palestinians, despite all the Zionist crimes, believe in the inevitability Victory.
