Food Expo 2021 kicks off Monday

Some 80 local food companies are to take part in the 16th Food and Packing Industries Exhibition (Food Expo 2021) at Damascus Fairgrounds.

The event is organized by Delta Group for Exhibition and Conferences under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry and with the support of the Federation of the  Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Damascus and Damascus Countryside Chamber of Industry and the Syrian Chambers of Agriculture.

The executive director of the organizing group Gheyath Shamma’ told SANA that the exhibition will last until July 16th, pointing out that specialized businessmen from Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq as well as the chambers of commerce, industry and agriculture in these countries were invited to visit the exhibition.

 A forum on food industries and the challenges facing their growth is to be held on July 13th on the sidelines of the exhibition.
